Born in the birth place of Hip Hop / Started as a poet / Scouted to play college ball / Discovered the stage / Felt the tears / Felt the laughs / Felt the silence of complete engagement... And was hooked.
HIGHLIGHTS:
My first major role came in 2011 in the critically acclaimed Sundance film PARIAH (Focus Features). I went on to work with the legend that is George C. Wolfe in YOU’RE NOT YOU, make television appearances on LAW & ORDER: SVU and COLD CASE, collaborate with esteemed directors Paris Barclay and Jonathan Kaplan, and become a series regular on Nicktoons’s SPEED RACER: THE NEXT GENERATION.
Most notably behind-the-scenes I assisted Dee Rees on the HBO film BESSIE, which led to a pivotal role as the Executive Assistant to Shelby Stone, then president of Flavor Unit Entertainment. We developed projects with Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Lifetime, Tri-Star, and IM Global. It reinforced my passion for storytelling while cultivating a well-rounded grasp of the development process.
20 years into a career in entertainment, as an Actor, Writer, Producer, Grip, Exec Assist, Art Department, 2nd AD, Coordinator, (wearer-of-many-hats!) my enthusiasm and passion for filmmaking and storytelling has never wavered.
